Booking Policy

To schedule an appointment, please feel free to call or text us at 604-710-7546, or email us at contact@varnish.ca. We’ll do our best to accommodate your preferred date and time.

Online Booking Policy
Only select services and technicians are available for online booking. If your preferred time isn’t showing, or if you need to make changes, please call or email us—we may still be able to accommodate you.
Please note: Online appointments cannot be canceled through the booking system. To cancel or reschedule, you must contact us directly.
Cancellation Policy
Varnish Nails & Beauty is dedicated to providing you and others with excellent customer service and access to appointments during peak times. Due to this and our limited space, we have a firm 24-hour cancellation policy.
Please review our policy before scheduling. By booking with us, you agree to the terms below:
- Â A valid credit card is required to secure all appointments.
- Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid charges.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a 50% charge of the scheduled service.
- Cancellations with less than 12 hours’ notice will incur a 100% charge of the scheduled service.
- No-shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service.
- Outstanding no-show or late cancellation fees must be paid in full before rescheduling.
Late Arrivals
We understand delays happen and will do our best to accommodate. However:
- Services will end at the originally scheduled time.
- Arrivals more than 10 minutes late may require rescheduling and may incur cancellation fees.
No Communication = No-Show
Missed appointments without notice will be treated as no-shows. The full service fee will be charged to the card on file or deducted from gift certificates or reward points.
Group Bookings
- Groups of 4 require 48 hours’ notice for cancellation.
- Groups of 5 or more require 1 week’s notice.
- A minimum 18% gratuity will be added to all parties of 5 or more.
Nail Fix Policy
Varnish Nails & Beauty is committed to high-quality service and offers a Nail Fix Guarantee. If you experience peeling, lifting, chipping, or fading, we’ll happily repair it at no charge within the timelines below.
REGULAR POLISH
If smudging or chipping occurs within 3 days, contact us for a complimentary fix (maximum of 5 nails).
BIO, UV GEL, ACRYLICS, & GEL POLISH
If issues arise within 5 days, we will repair up to 5 nails at no cost.
Please contact us by phone or email as soon as possible to schedule your repair. Some repairs may be subject to a reasonable charge outside of the guarantee period or policy conditions.
Return Policy
All sales are final.
- We do not offer refunds or exchanges for services or retail products.
- Gift certificates are non-refundable.
Service Disclaimer
Please note that service timing and pricing may vary depending on individual needs. Extra time, work, or product required—such as extensive cuticle care, nail repairs, or product removal—may result in a price adjustment.
Our team will always do their best to inform you in advance if changes apply. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to providing you with the best possible service.
YOUR SAFETY IS OUR PRIORITY
Your health and safety are important to us. All staff have completed Barbicide COVID-19 Infection Control, Barbicide Sanitation and Disinfection, and Dermalogica Clean Touch certifications.
We continue to maintain enhanced cleaning and sanitizing protocols:
- For everyone’s safety, masks are recommended during your appointment.
- Hand washing and sanitizer stations are available. Clients will be asked to wash their hands before and after services.
- We reserve the right to refuse or stop a service at any time due to safety concerns for our staff and clients.
